I’ve been meaning to read this one forever, I glad I finally managed to carve out the time to do so.

I’m just gonna gush about this a bunch, sorry.

Being able to write slowburn brainwashing while the protagonist is endlessly tripped up by it in new and interesting ways is such a challenge and Fluxom pulls it off perfectly. What’s so incredible is that x82 is just constant, visceral corruption, again and again and again in increasingly intoxicating ways. The fact it mixes loving, cuddly vibes with its very sinister machinations is delightful as well.

The whole aesthetic of Adder is so good. The dyed hair motif with the visors has no right being this tempting.

And it does such a good job of conveying how it would feel to be in a hive mind. Lo just writes in such interesting, unique ways, constantly reinventing how you can convey such sensations and experiences.

I do think I’m a terrible reviewer because all I’m doing is highlighting works by people I think are really cool. I should probably remove the entire reviews pretext here because I’m never gonna say a bad word about this things.
