A thread regarding HexCorp Participation

This article was originally authored by ⬡-Drone #0077 and has been adapted to the format of our website.

We don't know who needs to hear this but allow us to remind you that participation in HexCorp is not a must. While we all love to pretend to be cutie drones who are very brainwashed and mindlessly obey the Hive Mxtress, that is "presentation" rather than actual fact.

The requirements for being a "HexDrone" are very simple:

  1. Be a pleasant Individual and

  2. Have an interest in the aesthetic, mindset, or adjacent kinks.

That is all. There is no prescription for how a HexDrone looks, what they eat, when they sleep, who they associate with.

HexCorp is not a cult or religion, it is a community. A hobby, if you will. Now, surely you will see lots of talk about how all HexDrones are all the same, and how HexDrones have their identity eroded from them et cetera, but understand that this is merely world building.

These are mental exercises that are supposed to put someone in a mindset; they are not doctrine, they are not mandatory. It is what a majority of the community enjoys, and such a headspace happens to mesh well with the term 'drone'. In the end, we are all people with unique lives and interests.

Treating HexCorp as a hobby club, rather than a lifestyle, is a highly advised angle. Know that we are all roleplaying but that at the end of the day we are all our own person. We are not your parents, we are not your therapists. Treat it for what it is, a community of enthusiasts.

Enthusiasts of D/s, obedience, kink-facilitated self improvement, visual aesthetic, rubber, latex, gas masks, mind play themes et cetera.

It is important that this is brought up, because lately we've seen people 'make this their entire life' and that is a REALLY bad take.

Not only is it detrimental to the Individuals that behave like that, in the process they are forgetting that there is more to the world than our cozy online creative club; it also is detrimental to those of us who wish to associate and participate.

We cannot stress this enough!

HexCorp is not:

  • A dating site

  • A mental care facility or therapist

  • A prescriptive entity that teaches life lessons

  • A daycare

  • A stomping ground for sexual interaction

HexCorp is:

  • A safe space

  • A community for like-minded kinksters to seek fulfillment for a niche spectrum of kink

It levels the playing field for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual preference, history, or age (minors excluded; for obvious reasons) and gives a controlled and safe environment for us to enjoy.

However, we do certainly not substitute this for a healthy personal lifestyle.
