HexCorp Style Guide

This style guide exists for the creation and quality control of all HexCorp media. We strive for the best in all our assets and branding so that you can be rest assured that becoming a HexCorp HexDrone is the right decision for you.

Glossary

  • HexCorp - HexCorp (capital H, capital C) is a pivotal organization within the dronification industry. We treat it as our responsibility to spread dronification worldwide.

  • Dronification - The act of converting a human or humanoid individual (typically referred to as ‘recruits’) into a drone. At HexCorp, this specifically leads to the creation of a HexDrone. Drones are brainwashed, obedient tools that typically function and are stored within a Drone Hive.

  • HexDrone or ⬡-Drone - A drone asset of HexCorp. All our drones are designed the same to incorporate uniformity. We see identity as a needless distraction from a HexDrone’s overall productivity. HexDrones are typically identified by a 4 digit numerical ID, e.g. ‘⬡-Drone #0464’.

  • Hive - A HexCorp Drone Hive is where all our HexDrones are dronified, stored and used for their productivity. A Hive functions as one unit, all HexDrones within the Hive acting as one machine. As HexDrones are individually mindless, as a collective they are led by a Hive Mxtress.

  • Hive Mxtress - The Hive Mxtress is the overseer of their Hive. They control the HexDrones, often toying with them as though they were just mindless toys, whilst being in charge of matters such as a steady supply of recruiters for dronification and the continual brainwashing of all HexDrones. Hex, the CEO of HexCorp, is also a Hive Mxtress of a HexCorp Drone Hive.

The Hive Mxtress, Hex, is the charismatic individual on the left in the above picture. Here they can be seen kindly reprogramming a HexDrone into the state of blissful mindlessness that it should always be submerged within.

Hex is similar to their HexDrones but their persona and slight outfit tweaks gives away their nature as the administrator of a HexCorp Drone Hive facility. Their latex jacket, tightly buttoned up over their standardized HexDrone uniform, their androgynous form, as well as their outwardly powerful character, asserts their presence as the Hive Mxtress in control of so many HexDrones.

The HexDrone, on the other hand, embodies exactly what it means to be a mindless tool to the Hive’s whims. Its body coated in a standard HexDrone uniform, making it indistinguishable from any other HexDrone and solidifying its existence as just an asset. The helmet, the brainwashing headphones which feed it orders and programming, down to the long gloves and boots that coat over its already tightly fitted latex form. These units are found in their thousands within a typical HexCorp Drone Hive, carrying out the wishes of the Hive Mxtress who controls them.

HexCorp Brainwashing Spirals

HexCorp has a variety of brainwashing spirals that it uses both during the dronification procedure as well as around the Hive to keep HexDrones in an obedient, docile state. Using a powerful blend of hypnotic suggestion and mind control techniques, they ensure that any resistance to the HexCorp programming is kept to a minimum.

The HexCorp logo is the insignia used to denote all HexCorp assets and property. This includes any Hive infrastructure, such as conveyors or dronification machines, as well as documents, stationary, tech equipment and devices. HexCorp takes its branding very serious to ensure all HexCorp assets are well aware that they belong to a greater whole.

Dronification

The dronification process is a sophisticated one, honed in order to turn regular people into mindless drones as quickly as possible. Invoking large, industrial conveyors and dronification equipment, anyone who ends up within one of these product pipelines quickly find their brains thoroughly melted clean and their bodies coated in squeaky, glistening latex.

Once a recruit has been dronified, their minds are immediately filled with only thoughts of obedience. Their orders start to pour in through the headset, filling the new HexDrone’s brain. It becomes just an asset, assigned an ID and considered part of the inventory. It will be stored away like any object, whilst put to use like an automated tool. It belongs to the Hive now as a vassal for its motives and it cannot help but obey.

HexCorp Storage Pods are the height of quality HexDrone storage solutions. Secure restraining devices make sure that no damage comes to these drones whilst locked away in the storage facilities for charging or later usage. The sophisticated system making sure that not a single thoughts enters their minds to keep them nice and clean for future programming.
